Ream Leader (Sales Executives) JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Team Leader (Sales Executives) Reporting to: Internal Sales Manager / Customer and Sales Support Manager Location: Marlow Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week Job purpose: • To support the Internal Sales Manager / Customer and Sales Support Manager with the day to day running of the team through managing the day to day resource levels of all Sales Executives • To provide effective sales management enabling the Sales Executives to support the Business Development Managers to achieve their targets • To proactively develop the Sales Executives within the team by using the performance management processes, coaching and mentoring • To ensure that sales standards and targets are met and exceeded • To achieve personal performance objectives FSA regulated role: Yes Key Accountabilities: • Achievement of all HVF sales targets • Manage and develop direct reports through the provision of coaching, training and development (inc Academy engagement) • Working with and assisting the Business Development Managers to develop and manage existing and prospect customers into long term profitable partnerships by building real value into the relationship • Ensure customer and prospect records are fully maintained in CLAS to ensure the renewals system is being fully utilised (ie Capture of non HVF data in renewals system) • Working knowledge of the HVF business, products, processes and the marketplace • To undertake other activities as required • Effective problem solving Key Responsibilities: • Recruitment, motivation, coaching and development of the Sales Executives • 1-2-1’s, PDP’s, POP’s, salary reviews and appraisal of direct reports • Ensure that the team capitalises on the profitable renewal / penetration of customer fleets by identifying properly qualified requirements and ensuring quotation follow ups are timely • Maximise the Sales Academy to ensure consistent staff development and best practise sharing • To oversee the production of all tenders and ensure they meet the customer and HVF requirements • Ensure that the Customer/Prospect database is maintained in CLAS / CRM • To ensure prospecting is completed to targets and assist the Business Development Managers in customer implementations • Prioritisation of workload to ensure all deadlines and SLAs are met • To develop an appropriate level of knowledge of our industry and marketplace to help and support team members • Effective communication to the team and business • To build an effective relationship with HVF sales team Measures of Success: • Academy achievement • Achievement of quarterly objectives POP & PDP • Attrition rate • Call statistics • Completion of performance management process • Contract amend conversion / profit • CSS Score • Number of on the job coaching days • Performance against sales target, fleet plan and margin • Performance against HVF Ltd SLA’s • Renewal / penetration rate • Value added product margin / penetration improvement Person Specification: You will be expected to demonstrate behaviours consistent with our Core Values: Pioneering: We find new and better ways of doing things Pace and Ambition: We are passionate about what we do and act promptly to achieve our goals Integrity: We are genuine and honest Hungry to Learn We have the opportunity and desire to develop and to become the best we can be. Occasional overnight accommodation maybe required in order to facilitate the effectiveness of this.
